Dana Roy Powell, age 49, of Alvin, Texas, formerly raised in League City, Texas passed away, January 1, 2008 in Webster, Texas. Dana was born on August 28, 1959 in Texas City, Texas and was a resident of Alvin for the last fifteen years. He was a mechanic for the Clear Creek I.S.D., and was a member of the Baptist Faith.
Dana is survived by his parents, Roy and Sylvia Powell of League City, Texas; sister, Rhonda Pitts and husband, Don of Danbury, Texas, along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held, Friday, 6 – 8 P.M. January 2, 2009 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held, Saturday, 10 A.M., January 3, 2009 at Scott Funeral Home Chapel in Alvin, Texas with burial to follow in the Confederate Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Scott Family, 1421 E. Hwy. 6, Alvin, Texas 77511. 281-585-1000.
