FRITCH - Earl J. Miller, 73, died Friday, July 14, 1995 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fritch First Southern Baptist Church with Dr. Jimmy Reese, the Rev. Paul Simpson, pastor, and the Rev. John Denton, retired Baptist minister, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

A native of LaFayette, he had been a Hutchinson County resident from 1964-1977, then moved to Norway for Phillips 66 from 1977 to 1983, retired and lived in Arkansas until 1990 when he moved to Fritch.

He was a retired superintendent for Phillips 66 Petroleum Company. He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Fritch, and a World War II Navy veteran and served as chief water tender in the boiler room.

He married Sammie Chandler on Oct. 7, 1942 at Nashville, Ark.

Survivors include his wife of the home; a son, Randall "Randy" Miller of Fritch, a daughter, Kathie Sarchet of McKinney; a brother, J.C. Miller of DeQueen, Ark.; a sister, Hazel Williamson of Phoenix, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.
