Borger News Herald - July 30 & 31, 1987
Rickie Ray Moon, 32, 113-B N. Turner, died Wednesday in St. Anthony's Hospice in Amarillo.
An oilfield roustabout, he was a lifetime resident of Borger.
He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church of Fritch.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Neal Moon, Jr., in 1975.
He is survived by his wife, Carol of the home; three daughters, Angela Lynn, Christine, Stephanie, all of the home; one son, Rickie Ray, Jr. of the home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Neal Moon of Fritch; two sisters, Vickie Beeson of Amarillo, Cynthia Moon of Fritch; his grandmother, Ruby Van Kirk of Borger.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Don Rice, pastor, Faith Baptist Church of Fritch.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Casketbearers will be Jim Hoosier, Sip Campbell, Teddy West, Buster Gunn, John Nelson, G.T. Curlin.
Memorials may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice in Amarillo or Golden Spread Ostomy Association.
