*Obituary
GEORGE HECTORNE DARRAS, III, 63, of Texas City, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2015.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 27, 2015, at Emken Linton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 26, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.
George was born May 29, 1951 in Galveston. He was a retired pipefitter. He was an Eagle Scout, a past member of the Jaycees. He loved his motorcycle, gambling, hunting, and his family and friends.
Survivors include wife, Marilyn, son, George, IV, other friends and relatives.
Pallbearers are Sean Steves, Lynn Eriksen, Norman Kautz, and Jerry Brown.
