Richard Harold Peery, 58, of Amarillo died Friday, July 20, 2007.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Brown Funeral Directors. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery.

Richard Harold Peery, loving husband of Linda Bailey Peery, was born Oct. 2, 1948, in Amarillo to Richard Hubert and Juanita Perry. He grew up in Amarillo, working for his dad and granddad with his brothers, Michael and David, at Peery Construction. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1968 and later received an associate in sacience degree from Amarillo College. He was a proud Vietnam veteran, having served in the Navy. Richard married Linda Bailey Nov. 27, 1968.

Richard worked for Conoco Phillips Petroleum Co. for 32 years at N.G.L. and left behind many loving friends and co-workers. He loved to cook, hunt, ride horses and spend time with his grandchildren. Our loving husband, dad, son, grandpa and brother will be greatly missed

Survivors include his wife, Linda; his mother, Juanita; a son Shane Peery and wife Christy of Amarillo, their children, Chrisian, Damion, Ivy, Jacob, Joshua, Brittany and Chance; a daughter, Kari Gilbreath and husband Richard of Fritch, and their daughter Savannah; three brothers, Michael Peery and children Meagan and Brion of Amarillo, David Peery and wife Becky of Fritch, and children Misty, Jimmy Dale, Samantha and Jennifer Light, all of Miami and Brandon Peery of Fritch; and four nephews, Phillip Newcomb of Amarillo, David Newcomb of San Antonio, Michael Newcomb of Ponca City, Okla., and Jason Gage of Edmond, Okla.

The family will be at 640 Sunset Lane.

The family suggests memorials be to Celebration Family Church in Fritch.

Linda Bailey Peery
November 3, 1948 - October 22, 2017

Linda Bailey Peery passed away Sunday October 22, 2017 at her home in Fritch.

She was born November 3, 1948 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Jack Mason and Helen Irene (Staten) Bailey. Linda and Richard Harold Peery were married November 27, 1968 in Amarillo, Texas. She was the manager of Pantex Credit Union, Borger for many years. Linda was a member of the Assembly Of God Church in Fritch.

She was preceded in death by her parents;her husband, Richard; one sister, Pat Bedard and one brother Jerry Bailey.

Her survivors include: a daughter, Kari Garcia and husband, Joe of Borger; 2 sons: Shane Peery and wife Christy of North Richland Hills, Texas and Christian Peery of San Francisco, California; a sister, Dianne Ensey and husband Gifford of Kileen, Texas; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and numerous friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 25, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Assembly Of God , Fritch. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Borger.

Linda will lie in state Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains, Borger.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Peery's honor to the Assembly Of God Church Building Fund, Fritch, Texas.

Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Borger.
