Funeral services for Carl "Hess" Davidson, 82, of Levelland, formerly of Whiteface, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2007, at Cactus Drive Church of Christ in Levelland, with Wayne Horton, Minister, and Rev. Jerry Howe, pastor, Second Baptist Church, Levelland, officiating. Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home. He died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at Vista Care Hospice, in Lubbock.
Born on Jan. 4, 1925, in Old Glory, to Carl Robert and Alvie Lois Martin Davidson, and he moved to Levelland from Whiteface, in 1998. He married Ola Mae Jackson, on Oct. 7, 1950, in Rochester. He was in World War II, Army Air Corps. He was a farmer and retired from the Whiteface Schools as the Bus Foreman. He was a member of Cactus Drive Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Wayne Davidson.
Survivors include his wife, three children, two brothers, three sisters, ten grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
