GILBERT, Ariz. - James Edward "Ed" Pennington, 81, died Wednesday, April 11, 2001.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Church of Christ at Borger, Texas, with Stan Mitchell, minister, officiating. Interment will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Pennington served his country during World War II. He resumed work at Phillips Petroleum Co. in Phillips, Texas, where he was employed for 40 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred; a son, James Randolph Pennington of Gilbert; a sister, Irene Marsh of Yukon, Okla.; and a granddaughter.
