Funeral services for Mrs. Ralph (Ellen) Peoples, 82, of Panhandle, are at 11 a.m. Thursday from Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. James Boxwell, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Panhandle, officiating.

Burial in Westlawn Memorial Park will be directed by Poston Funeral Home of Panhandle.

Mrs. Peoples lived in Borger for 21 years, moving to Panhandle when her husband died in 1964. She died at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony's Hospital Amarillo, following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Peoples was born in McCune, Kan., and moved to Borger in 1935 then to Guymon in 1945. She returned to Borger in 1953 for an 11-year stay here. When her husband died she moved to Panhandle to be near her son, Donald W. Peoples, publisher of Panhandle Herald.

Surviving are her son; sisters, Mrs. Howard Lloyd, Florence, Colo., Mrs. S.L. Mofie, Shelton, Wash.; and one grandson.
