Herb Donnell, 76, of Levelland, Texas passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.
Funeral Services are under the direction of George Price Funeral Home in Levelland, Texas and will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the College Avenue Baptist Church in Levelland, Texas.
Herb was born October 2, 1935 in Montague County, Texas, the son of Marvin and Myrtle (Kirk) Donnell. He graduated from Idalou High School in 1954 and helped on the family farm. He married Wynelle Hagins on June 18, 1955 in Gilpin, Dickens County, Texas. Herb was a lifelong farmer. Herb was a member of the Lamb County Electric Co-op from September, 1983 until his death. He was also a longtime member of the Pettit Co-op Gin Board of Directors.
Herb is survived by his wife of fifty six years, Wynelle; two sons, Clay Donnell and his wife, Mary of Levelland, Texas, and Derek Brent Donnell of Pontiac, Illinois, one daughter; Terresa Pace and her husband, Ricky of Levelland, Texas, two brothers; Tony Millizzo and his wife, Linda Gay of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and Carl Donnell and his wife, Lupe of Lubbock, Texas, two grandsons; Jason Pace of Bryan, Texas and Ben Donnell of Levelland, Texas, three grand-daughters; Christi Bynum and her husband, Tim of Lubbock, Texas, Lydsy Donnell of Levelland, Texas, and Layce Donnell of Levelland, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son; Lesley Donnell, and one brother; Elvia Lee Donnell.
