Funeral services for Edna Underwood Dunaway, 89, of Levelland are 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at George Price Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bruce Cotton officiating. Burial will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home. She died October 30, 2009, at Lynwood Manor. The family will receive visitors from 5 – 7 pm, Monday, November 2, 2009 at the funeral home.
Edna was born on February 22, 1920 to Henry and Gertie Munton Siebert in Tamalco, IL. She married E. H. Underwood on July 4, 1946. Following his death, she married Mike Dunaway on July 9, 1975. He also preceded her in death. She was also preceded by a daughter, Sandra Gates and a grandson, Timothy Isom.
Survivors include a daughter, Edna Isom of Houston; a son, Ernest Underwood and wife, Martye, of Breckenridge, TX; two step-sons, Drew Dunaway and Bobby Dunaway; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
