Funeral services for Billy Allen Durham, 65, of Levelland will be 2 p.m., Monday, August 28, 2006 at South Plains Church in Levelland with Rev. Eddie Trice, pastor and Rev. Jesse Hodge of Levelland officiating. Burial will be in the City of Levelland Cemetery under the direction of George Price Funeral Home. He died at 10:22 p.m., Friday, August 25, 2006 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
Born on February 12, 1941 in Lubbock County to Tom and Kathleen Durham, he moved to Hockley County at an early age and graduated from Ropesville High School in 1959. He farmed in Hockley County for over 45 years, farming in the Arnett, Pettit and Ropes communities. He married Joyce Sims on June 29, 1963 in Lubbock. He was a lifelong farmer and a member of South Plains Church in Levelland. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David.
