HITCHCOCK - Irene E.
Rac, 81, of Hitchcock, Texas
.passed away Tuesday,
January 16, 2007, in Texas
'City, Texas. She was born
April 24, 1925, in.Hitchcock,
Texas to Ambrose J. and
Elizabeth Terrebonne; a lifetime
resident of Hitchcock;
and a member of Peace
Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in
death by her parents; husband
Julius H. Rac, Sr., son
Buster Rac, sister, Elizabeth
Terrebonne and brother,
Joseph Terrebonne.
She is survived by her two
daughters; Joyce Rac and
Judy Rac both of Hitchcock;
granddaughter Diane Rac of
Texas City; four sisters and
brothers-in-law; Margaret
and James Callender of
Hitchcock; Josephine Warn
of Hitchcock; Patsy and
Michael Billiar of
Independence, Oregon and
Dolores Terrebonne of Las
Vegas, Nevada; brothers,
Terry Terrebonne of
Hitchcock and Frank
Terrebonne of Bayou Vista;"
and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Visitation will be on
Friday, January 19, 2007,
from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00
p.m. at the chapel of the
James Crowder Funeral
Home, La Marque. Funeral
service will be on Saturday,
January 20, 2007, at 10:00
a.m. at the funeral home
with Pastor Jay Simonsen
officiating. Burial will follow
at Grace Memorial Park
Cemetery in Hitchcock,
Texas.
Pallbearers will be Joey
Dieringer, John Dieringer
III, Russell Elfstrom, Jimmy
Callender, David Rac and
Ray Elfstrom.
Memorials may be made
to Peace Lutheran Church
