Wife of Hubert Salathiel Creswell
Services for Sadye V. Creswell, 81, of Slaton will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Trinity Evangelical Methodist Church with the Rev. Lee Elliss, pastor, officiating. The Rev. Weldon Thomas, a retired minister, will assist.
Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery under direction of Englunds Funeral Service.
She died Friday, Nov. 13, 1998, in St. Mary Hospital.
She was born Feb. 12, 1917, in Cleburne. She graduated from Levelland High School. She was a dorm matron at South Plains College, and she attended South Plains College. She married H.S. "Cres" Creswell on Dec. 24, 1968. He died April 27, 1984. Two sons, Tommy Lynn Weaver, died Oct. 6, 1945, and Randle Hill Weaver died Jan. 31, 1993.
She was a homemaker, sales representative for Avon and a charter member of Trinity Evangelical Methodist Church.
