LeRoy Tackett married Janice Price on Feb. 25, 1967 in Levelland, TX. He was retired from Wheeler Operating where he was a foreman. He was a member of First Bapt. Church, Levelland, TX. He was preceded in death by twin children, Jana Lane Tackett and John Lesley Tackett on May 4, 1971.
Surviving are his wife, Janice of levelland, a son David Tackett of Cleveland, TX; a daughter, Tammy Gonzalez of Levelland; his mother, Nora Jackson of Levelland; three brothers, James Cross of Cordova, TN, Johnny Tackett of Levelland, and Luther "Skeeter" Sutton of Tatum, N.M., a sister, LaRaina Roberts of Levelland; four grand children and one great-grandson.
