Services for Clifford Edmond Throckmorton will be Monday, December 1, 2014 at 2PM at the George Price Funeral Home Chapel with Elgin Conner officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Clifford went to be with the Lord on November 28, 2014. He was born on July 12, 1925 in Las Vegas, NM to L.D. and Margaret (Dailing) Throckmorton. He graduated from Whitharral High School. Clifford joined the Navy after high school where he was a pharmacist mate in the medical corp. After his service to our country, he married Mildred (Prissy) Pittner on October 27, 1946. They made their lives together in Whitharral in the agriculture and livestock industry. He was a member of the 13th & Avenue K Church of Christ. After retirement, Clifford and Prissy made their home in Levelland. Survivors include his wife, Prissy Throckmorton; son Glenn (Lana) Throckmorton; daughters Sharon (Bobby) Froman and Shari (Robby) Timberlake; four granddaughters, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.; sisters Clara Harbin and Tressie McKelory; and brothers Dan Throckmorton and Verlie Throckmorton. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Gary Throckmorton. The family requests donations to the Whitharral Cemetery in lieu of flowers. Arrangements under the direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland, TX.
