LEVELLAND (Special) Services for Ray Tucker, 80, of Phoenix, Ariz., and formerly of Levelland will be at 11 a.m. today at Geo. C. Price Funeral Chapel in Levelland with the Rev. Jesse Hodge, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Levelland, officiating.
Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of Geo. C. Price Funeral Directors.
He died Sunday, May 21, 2000, in the Carl T. Hayden Veterans Administration Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz.
He was born Sept. 19, 1919, in Andice. He moved to Levelland from Williamson County in 1928. He was employed in oil field trucking by R.B. Morse Trucking and Musslewhite Trucking. He was retired at the time of his death. He married Ethel Ann McBride on May 5, 1953, in Roswell, N.M. She died Aug. 1, 1953. He was a member of the Methodist Church and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by two sisters, Clara Howard of Levelland and Ethel Mae Kauffman of Phoenix, Ariz.
