BORGER - Paul B. "P.B." Potter, 78, died Friday, Dec. 24, 1999.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church of Borger with the Rev. Gregg Simmons officiating. Masonic graveside services will be in Westlawn Cemetery by Isom Lodge 1242. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, 315 E. Fifth Avenue of Amarillo.
Mr. Potter was born in Tucumcari, N.M., and had lived in Borger 51 years. He was the retired owner of Hutchinson Aircraft Service and Sales and had worked at Potter-Tweed Insurance Co. for 25 years.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Borger and the Junior Chamber of Commerce. He was a Mason in Isom Lodge 1242 and a member of the Scottish Rite Consistory. He had perfect attendance for 30 years at the Borger Rotary Club and was active in the P.A.C. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
He married Frankie Snyder in 1948 at Borger.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Paulette Potter of Dallas and Bonnie Brodeur of Amarillo; a son, Tracy Potter of Billings, Mont.; and a granddaughter.
The family requests memorials be to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
The body will be available for viewing at Brown Funeral Home in Borger until an hour before service time on Wednesday.
