Services for Lawson L. "Skeet" Payne, 35, of Rosenburg will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Levelland with the Rev. Jesse Hodge officiating.
Burial will be in the City of Levelland Cemetery under the direction of Geo. C. Price Funeral Directors of Levelland.
He died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002.
He was born April 2, 1967, in Levelland. He attended Levelland schools and graduated from Levelland High in 1985. He graduated from South Plains College and the University of Texas in Austin. He married Bonnie R. Rogers on Nov. 9, 1996, in Austin.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church and worked for Kane Environmental Engineering as a consultant. He also was a member of the Texas Exes and the Order of the Engineer.
Survivors include his wife; his parents, E.C. and Jimmie Lea Payne of Levelland; two sisters, Sheri Belyeu of Lubbock and Susan Bradley of Crosbyton; and a brother, E.C. "Buddy" III of Snyder.
