EPSTEIN, NICHOLAS EVAN, Born August 7, 1993 in Plano, Texas to David and Debbi Epstein, passed away suddenly on September 5, 2005 at Childrens Medical Center in Dallas. Nick was lovable, caring, and the sweetest boy ever known. He was truly loved by his family, friends and teachers. He was a 7th grader at Frankford Middle School of the P.I.S. D.; he enjoyed participating in the choir and plays. Nick was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 261, where as a 1st Class Scout he held a leadership position. Survived by his parents, David and Debbi; sister, Rachael Epstein; grandparents, Gene Epstein, and Harold and Nancy Martin; aunts and uncles, Tracy Epstein, Mark and Melinda Epstein and their children Tyler and Collin Epstein, Glenn and Sue Martin and their children Robert and Barbie Martin, Steve Martin, his wife Barbara and his children Jennifer, Natalie, and Adam Martin; his best friend, Robbie Jurgens; and numerous family and friends, including Harrison Tsai and Conner VanNostrand. Services will be held at the graveside at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Rabbi Murray Berger, officiating. Nick had a love for penguins and a memorial fund has been set up in his name. Please send donations to the Nicholas Epstein Fund, Dallas World Aquarium for Aquarium of Americas to relocate penguins from New Orleans, 1801 N. Griffin, Dallas, Texas 75202.
