Howard V. Rawlings, 81, Borger, died Wednesday, March 30, 1994 in the Borger Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Larry Miller, pastor, First Baptist Church, Gruver, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.

A retired plumber with Jerry Keith Plumbing Company, he was a native of Stoy, Illinois and a Borger resident for 60 years.

He married Gladys Moffitt on June 2, 1949 in Clayton, N.M.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Marshall Rawlings and a sister, Jewel Keith.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys; one son, Paul Marshall of Mounds, Minnesota; one daughter, Sally Hickman Edwards of Trenton; one brother, Rex Rawlings of Fallon, Nevada; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
