ERLANGER,, BLANCHE ERLANGER born April 29, 1913, in New York City, NY to Morris and Bessie Robins, died May 20, 2005, in Dallas. Survived by her brother Hal Robins and wife Eloise; cousins Rozelle and Richard Gilman and their children Duncan, Chelsea and Camden; and Ida Miller; and by her many loving and concerned friends. She and her late husband Richard Erlanger were active philanthropists for Mayo Clinic for over 50 years. Blanche and Richard were members of Temple Emanu-El for over 50 years. She was a deeply loving and generous lady who endeared herself to many. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 23, 2005, at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Rabbi Gerald J. Klein officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rabbi Gerald J. Klein Discretionary Fund or to the charity of your choice.
