Luther Gragg Miller Jr., 70, of Seminole went to be with the Lord on February 24, 2021. He was born on August 5, 1950 in Seminole to L.G. and Coyet (Murphree) Miller. Luther met and married the love of his life, Kathy McMillian, May 16, 1983 in Lovington, New Mexico. Luther was employed by XTO Energy for over 25 years as a Well Completion Foreman. He was adored by his coworkers and employees. During his younger years, Luther was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. As he grew older, Luther enjoyed spending time in the mountains surrounded by friends and wildlife. He was known as the “Angel on the Mountain” for his never-ending acts of kindness. Following in his father’s footsteps, he dedicated his “Land” to farm and care for his horses. Luther was hardworking, passionate about American politics, and would do anything for his family.

Luther was greeted in Heaven by his father, mother, and brother, Ray Miller.

He had a rough exterior but a soft heart for his wife, Kathy Miller, four sons, Trey Miller of Anchorage, Alaska, Casey Miller of Ft. Worth, Kyle and Dusty Miller of Seminole and Andy Wallace of Weatherford; three daughters, Amy and Jonathan Day of Midland, Christina and Stormy Jackson of Andrews and Wendy and Chris Wallace of Princeton, Illinois; two brothers, Earl and Johnny Miller; three sisters, Ida Fay Goss, Dorothy Cox, and Coyet Selman; along with 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many pets.

Funeral services for Luther Gragg Miller Jr., will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Transformation Church with Reverend Matthew “Bobcat” Ray officiating, assisted by Tod Delay, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole.
