WESLACO - Camila J. Suarez, 90, passed away Friday, February 24, 2012 at Weslaco Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 02, 1921 to Silvestre and Carmen Jimenez in Killeen, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Pablo Suarez and son Pablo Suarez Jr.
Mrs. Suarez is survived by 3 daughters, Flora (Ismael) Gonzalez from Robstown, Tx., Margie Falcon from Chicago, IL., Angie (Roy) Avila from Prosper, Tx.; 1 son, Pablo Serna from Sanger, Tx., ; 4 brothers, Jesus Jimenez, Frank Jimenez, Rafael Jimenez all from Weslaco, Tx. And Juan Jimenez from San Antonio, Tx. 3 sisters, Eulalia Salinas and Flora Alonzo from Lubbock, Tx., Janie de los Santos from Dallas, Tx. Also surviving her are 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral chapel service: Monday, February 27, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Hawkins Funeral Home. Interment at Weslaco City Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Mrs. Suarez's provider of 10 years, Juliana Zuniga, for her loyal and attentive care she provided. And to all the CIMA Hospice doctors and nurses for their compassionate care.
