*Obituary
BORGER - Ross Roye, 99, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with D. Jay Lewis, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Roye was born in Palo Pinto and had lived in Borger for the past 53 years. He retired from Phillips Petroleum Co. as an instrument man. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Roye, in 1995; by a daughter, Letha Smith, in 1979; and by a son, Thomas Roye, in 1996.
Survivors include two daughters, Rossetta Hanna of Borger and LaVaye Billings of Lampasas; two sisters, Ellen Roye and Verna Johnston, both of Fort Worth; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
