*Obituary
Funeral services for Raymond M. Samberson, 64, of 403 Houston, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in Minton Memorial Chapel, the Rev. Joe Dee Ray, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Kenneth Jones, pastor of the First Christian Church. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park.
Samberson died Saturday in Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo following a short illness. He had been a resident of the Borger area since 1940 and was a past member of the Borger IOOF.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church and was in partnership in Ray's Radio and Refrigeration Service.
Survivors include his widow of the home; two daughters, Delores Samberson and Mrs. Tom Ramby both of Borger; one son, Ray Jr. of Borger; two sisters, Mrs. Velma Swartz and Mrs. Nita Carter both of Pueblo, Colo.; five brothers, Ralph, Adrian and Buss of Pueblo, Buck of Hobbs, N.M. and Bill of Odessa and four grandchildren.
Pall bearers will be J.W. Dillard, Jim Blackman, C.E. Whittington, Dr. George Shadid, B.R. True and H.E. Giddeon.
