April 21, 1909 - April 9, 1940

Lieut. McKinley was Commander of the Civilian Conservation Corps of Oklahoma and was based at Sentinel, OK.

Following graduation from New Mexico Military Institute, he entered the US Army.

Complications (blood poisioning) resulted after the extraction of a tooth. He was hospitalized at Fort Sill where he died.

Lt. McKinley was a member of First Methodist Church where memorial services were held. Interment followed in the IOOF Cemetery.
