January 3, 1876 - February 23, 1959
Mollie McKinley was a daughter of John Harris and Josephine (Ross) Harris.
On December 20, 1896, Mollie married Charles Dionysus McKinley. After her marriage Mollie moved to Hamilton with her new husband. Mollie grew up an Episcopalian but united with the Methodist Church after her move to Hamilton.
Mollie and Charles were the parents of three children: Allie Ruby (McKinley) Scott, Charlie (McKinley) Murphree, and Braxton McKinley who died in 1940.
Miss Mollie was a charter member of the Women's Society of Christian Service in First Methodist Church.
She was survived by her two daughters, four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lee Jones of Brownwood and Mrs. Gerald Bryson of Comanche; and two brothers--Walter and Floyd Ligon of Goldthwaite.
Memorial services were conducted by Rev. Sidney in the First Methodist Church. Interment followed in the IOOF Cemetery.
