*Obituary
CARRIE LOUISE LOVING, 93, of Texas City, passed away Monday, November 1, 2010, at Regent Care Center of League City.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, November 4, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m., Wednesday, November 3, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Loving was born August 17, 1917 in Hunt County, Texas. She was a retired nurse and a member of the First Baptist Church of Texas City.
Survivors include her son Edwin Loving and wife Lupe; daughters Barbara Powell and husband Floyd and Debbie Self and husband Doug; brother Connie Quattlebaum; sisters Linda Quattlebaum and Helen Sikes; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are Christopher Dotson, Adam Hathaway, Clint Halstead, Kenny Dickman, O. J. Alfaro, and Keith Summrall.
