Obituary:
FOLLETT - Opal Katherine Kliewer Breon, 78, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2000.
Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Clay Wells and Floyd Thiessen officiating. Burial was in Fairmont Cemetery by Seeger Funeral Home of Laverne, Okla.
Mrs. Breon was born southwest of Follett and graduated from Follett High School in 1941. She and her husband lived near Laverne and Booker, where they farmed. They moved to Follett in 1959. She retired in 1988 after 16 years as a secretary with the Lipscomb County Extension Office.
She was a member of Friends Church in Booker and attended First Baptist Church in Follett.
She married Wayne Breon in 1941 at Beaver, Okla. He died in 1998.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Breon and Merl Breon, both of Hondo; two brothers, Cornelius Kliewer and Leeroy Kiewer, both of Follett; a sister, Josephine Piel of Follett; three grandsons; and special friends, Ada Heferkamp and Martha Herber, both of Follett.
The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 96, Follett, TX.
