Saturday, Sept 8, 2001;
Services for Katharine Trammell 85, of Post will be at 2 PM today at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Buddy Payne officiating. Burial will be in Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral HOme of Post. She died Thursday, Sept 6, 2001. She was born April 28, 1916 in Post. She married Phil Trammell on Dec 24, 1934, in Post. He died Sept 17, 1954. She was a member of the Caprock Culture Club, the Needle Craft Club and the Methodist Church. She worked for George R. Brown until retiring. Survivors include two daughters Mary Eckols of Temple and Lucy Duston of Houston; a son Joe Bob of Levelland 6 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
