PEARLAND, TEXAS — Malchom Jacob Theiler, 90, passed away March 7, 2002, in Texas City, Texas.
He was born March 14, 1911, in Houston, Texas, to Jake and Margaret Theiler.
He retired from Union Carbide as an operator after 27 years of service.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of James Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas, with interment following at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
The family received friends and other family members on Friday, March 8, 2002, at the funeral home.
Survivors include four daughters, Dolly Pourchot and husband,
Robert of Pearland, Texas, Joyce Smith and husband, Chuck of Mauriceville, Texas, Sophie Wester and husband, Jim of Pearland, Texas and Sue Sidiropolous of Dickinson, Texs; five sons, Frank Theiler and wife, Mildred of Santa Fe, Texas, Malchom Theiler and wife, Barbara of Cedar City, Utah, Ernest Theiler and wife, Carolyn of Pasadena, Texas, George Theiler and wife, Rose Marie of Hitchcock, Texs and Lee Theiler of Dickinson, Texas; sister, Sophie Lane of Galveston, Texas; and step-sister, Bernice OMara of Texas City, Texas; sister-in-law, Pearl Antone of Houston, Texas; numerous grand children, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dollie Mae, after 62 years of
marriage; daughter Ruth Thieler and son, Paul Thieler.
Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons, Matt Migi, Ricky Pourchot, Robbie Pourchot, Chris Stevens, Michael Beaupre, Darren Smith, Frank Theiler, Jr. and Bryan Beaupre.
