JACK "J.W. MANN, age 75, of Alvin, Texas passed away Monday, April 4, 2011 at his residence. Jack was born on August 9, 1935 in Braesfield, Arkansas and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. He was in the agriculture business and was Protestant by faith. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Agnes Mann, sister, Mildred Mann and brothers, Lawrence, K.E. "Red" and Harold Mann.

Jack is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carolyn Mann of Alvin, Texas, daughters, Carol Adkins and husband, Jeffery of Alvin, Texas, Patty Tacquard of Friendswood, Texas, Cindy Theis and husband, Corky of Santa Fe, Texas, Pam Sanders and husband, David of Alvin, Texas, sons, Jack Mann, Jr. and wife, Tonie of Santa Fe, Texas, Lawrence Mann and fiancé, Whitney of Corpus Christi, Texas, sisters, Imogene Bush of Darby, Montana, Janice Hebert of Santa Fe, Texas, 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Scott Funeral Home with Pastor Aubrey Vaughan officiating. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, Hitchcock, Texas.
