Wife of Charles Edwin Dickson
Services for Cora Dickson, 79, of Slaton will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Sheffield officiating.
Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service.
She died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center.
She was born March 7, 1920, in Decatur. She moved to Slaton from Decatur in 1936. She graduated from Slaton High School in 1938. She married Charles E. Dickson on Dec. 9, 1937, in Clovis, N.M. He died Jan. 5, 1997. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church and the Lydia Sunday School Class. She was a member of the UTU Ladies Auxiliary and was a secretary treasurer for the Big County Holiday Ramblers RV Club.
