TIM COUNTS
Rotan-Tim Counts, 67, died Feb 21, 2010 at an Abilene hospital.
Service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010 at Weathersbee-Ray Chapel with burial in Belvieu Cemetery under the direction of
Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home. Visitation at will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday at the funeral home.
Tim was born Sept 8, 1942 in Stamford to Clarence V. and Bertie Ann (Seaton) Counts. He was a lifelong resident of Rotan. Tim married Nancy Darden on July 24, 1972 at Anson. He farmed and ranched but retired from Texas Department of Criminal Justice/Price Daniel Unit. Tim enjoyed staying busy by welding and woodworking. He was a member of the Church Of Christ. Tim is preceded in death by his parents. one daughter (Kristi Counts), two sisters (Leatece Schooley and Wanda Ann Counts) and a brother (Mickey Counts).
Tim is survived by his wife, Nancy Counts of Rotan; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Tim C. and Bonnie Counts of El Paso, Regie Counts of Dallas and Jay and Susan Loving of Denver, CO. two daughters and a son-in-law Naomi and Noel Perkins of Anson and Lori Muskevitsch of Sweetwater; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchilden; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
