Hazel Guillory Marshall was born November 27, 1929 in Galveston, Texas to Martin Guillory Sr. and Mary Thomas Guillory. She passed from this life on January 15, 2016 in Fontana, California. Hazel was educated in the public schools of La Marque, Texas and was a graduate of Lincoln High School. She was the First Black LVN to graduate from "Old Red" @ UTMB Hospital in Galveston. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in LaMarque until she relocated to California in January 1970. She was employed at Kaiser Hospital in Los Angeles for many years until her retirement. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by her loved ones.

Left to cherish memories of her life are her beloved children, Lawrence Werdlow III (Karen), Joseph Broussard, Florence Werdlow Spencer (George), Lynn Marshall and Woodrow Marshall; her step-children whom she loved, Patricia Werdlow Johnson, Reginald Werdlow, Annette Werdlow Lastrap and Michelle Werdlow Wiggins; 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
