Services for Eddie Eakin, 39, of Lubbock will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Englunds Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Renee Phillips, pastor of Metropolitan Community Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery.
Eakin died Saturday, Oct. 3, 1998, in Slaton.
He was born June 15, 1959, in Slaton. He attended Slaton schools. He was an artist in ceramic pottery, and he owned Eddie's Ceramics in Slaton.
Survivors include his parents, Ed and Rose Eakin of Slaton; a brother, Rob Eakin of Slaton; two sisters, Sherri Bates of Casper, Wyo., and Trudy Kitten of Slaton; his maternal grandmother, Ruby Custer of Slaton; and a special friend, Steve Dore of Lubbock.
