FINAL RITES HELD FOR W. H. FLETCHER

Funeral services for W. H. Fletcher, 78, were held at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday at the Chapel of Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale, with interment in the IOOF cemetery.
Mr. Fletcher who died at St. Edward Hospital, January 29, 1950 was a lifelong resident of Milam County, having been born before Rockdale was founded. For the past 48 years he had owned and operated a general mercantile store in Minerva, and maintained his family residence in Rockdale for the past 34 years.
His survivors include his widow; one daughter, Miss Pearl Fletcher of Houston and three sons; Emory and Bently Fletcher of Minerva and William |Fletcher of Rockdale. He is also survived by one grandson, Emory Fletcher, Jr.
Rev. H. E. Crone of Temple, former pastor of Rockdale was assisted by Rev. R. A. Brigham in conducting the Services.
