SANTA FE - Robert R. Palmer, Jr., 50, passed away August 11, 2003, at his home in Santa Fe, Texas. He was born
January 23, 1953, in Galveston, Texas, the son of Robert R. and Louise Palmer and resided in Santa Fe for 50 years.
He was employed with Abbey Management, Inc. for 5 years and active member at the St. Johns Lutheran Church in Santa Fe. He was a member of the Sons of the Texas Revolution.
His father, Robert R. Palmer and brother Marrion M. Muehe preceded Robert in death.
Robert is survived by his wife, Patricia Palmer; son, Adam Palmer; mother, Louise Palmer; brother, Clifford Muehe and
wife Tawy; aunts, Aline Metzger; uncle, George Gates and wife Gloria; nephew, Sean Muehe and wife Susan all of Santa Fe; sister-in-law, Nancy Muehe; nephew, Bobby Muehe; and Laura Muehe of Huntsville; aunts, Deoma Richardson; Betty Gates of Texas City; father-in-law, Ted Minor and wife Joan; brother-inlaws, Ted E. Minor and Ricky Minor; all of Brazoria; sister-in-law, Kathryn Cisneros of Santa Fe; sister-in-law, Susan Minor of
Galveston; close friends Donnie Hultquist; and Mike Austin of Santa Fe; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 14, 2003, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Emken Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2003, at the St. Johns Lutheran Church in Santa Fe, with the Rev. Beverly CoUinsworth officiating followed by a graveside service at Grace Memorial Park in Santa Fe.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Hultquist, Mike Austin, George Gates, Jr., John Gates, Mark Gates, and James Gates.
Memorials maybe sent to St. Johns Lutheran Church, 13136 Hwy 6, Santa Fe, Tx. 77510.
