Joyce Talbert Earl our beloved mother, grandmother and aunt passed away May 17, 2016 at Bayou Pines in La Marque, Texas.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2016 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Joyce was born December 20, 1927 in Sugartown, Louisiana. She retired from South Western Bell.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jack Earl; brother, Joe Talbert; sister, Gertie Simmons and Nona Foote and son in law, Joe Chambers.

Survivors include her daughter, Jackie Chambers of Texas City; son, Mike and Kathy Earl of Hitchcock; grandson, Jonathan Chambers and Nikki of Dickinson; granddaughters, Amy and Joel Evans, Lisa and Jay Balentine and children, James and Taylor Trimble.

Pallbearers are Randy Talbert, Paul Simmons, Oly Dagestad and Kevin Gress. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Prewitt, Ronald Earl and Bob Foote.

TEXAS CITY — Jack D. Earl, 76, of Texas City, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2004, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, November 20, 2004, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City with Dr. Grayson Glass officiating. Entombment will follow at the Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Earl was born August 2, 1928, in Crowville, Louisiana. He was the owner of Jack D. Earl & Co. Air Conditioning and Heating. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Joyce Earl, of Texas City; son Mike Earl and wife Kathy of Dickinson; daughter Jackie Chambers and husband Joe of Texas City; grandchildren, Jonathan Chambers, Lisa Trimble and Amy Evans; great-grandchildren, Taylor Trimble and James Trimble III; sisters, Myra White of Monterey, Louisiana and Rosie Brown of Winnsboro, Louisiana.
