WEST TEXAS CITY — Mrs. Loretta Elaine (L.E:) McCoy, 72,
passed from this earthly life Tuesday, December 17,1996, at Columbia Mainland Medical Center in Texas City. .

Mrs. McCoy was born January 24,1924, in Brenham, Texas and was employed as a Private Duty Nurse. She was a member of Rising Star Baptist' Church where she was active with the Darcus Circle No. 2, Past President of the Pastor's Aide and treasurer of the Mission
of Love Ministries.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving and devoted
husband, Carroll McCoy: of Texas City; her children,
Clarence E. (Harriett) Miller of Charleston, South Carolina, Cynthia BeQ-Malveaux and husband, Louis of "La Marque; Alfred J. Bell and Jacques K (Vivian) Bell all of Texas City; godson, Steve Lockett of La Marque; sisters, Alberta McBride of Brenham and Nita Moore and devoted brother-inlaw, James E. Moore of Texas City; brothers, Woodrow Ray of Houston, Alfred Ray of La Marque, Chris Ray of Hitchcock.

Visitation will be from1 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Mainland Funeral Home Chapel in La Marque. Funeral Services will
be 2:00 pan. Saturday, December 21st at the Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church in Texas City with Rev. D. N. Benford, Sr., officiating. She will be laid to rest in Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.

The family wishes to thank Mr. & Mrs. Jessie Walker, the UTMB Home Health and the East Woodrow Street neighbors for all of their love and concern given to their loved one.

Carroll W. McCoy of La Marque was born January 12, 1923 in Honduras and passed from this earthly life, July 13, 2009 in Webster, Texas.

Mr. McCoy, a longtime resident of La Marque, was a retired Merchant Marine and a faithful member of Rising Star Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted wife, Susie McCoy; his children, Regina, Karen, Linda, Cynthia Malveaux (Louis), Clarence Miller (Harriet), Alfred Bell, Jacques Bell (Vivian), Steve Lockett (Erin Michelle); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Services will be held at Rising Star Baptist Church, 302 N. Oak in Texas City with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m. Friday, July 17th followed by a wake from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor D. N. Benford, Sr., officiating. Entombment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock
