Donnie Daniel Sr.
SWEETWATER -- Donnie R. Daniel Sr., 52, died Wednesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Broadway Baptist Church with the Rev. James Baker officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Roby Cemetery, directed by Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Mr. Daniel was born in Roby and served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He worked as a truck driver for Gypsum Transport and was a member of Sweetwater Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2479.
Survivors include one son, ... of Sweetwater; two daughters, ..., both of Abilene; five brothers, Carnie Daniel, Sherman Daniel and Toad Daniel, all of Rotan, Vernon Daniel of Wintergreen, Va., and Calvin "Bugger" Daniel of Sweetwater; five sisters, Yvonne Hicks, Daphene Early and Gaylon Freeman, all of Rotan, Juanita Neves of Roby and Linda Simmons of Sweetwater; and two grandchildren
