*Obituary
Alton W. "Al" Tindall, 83, Borger, died Sunday, March 17, 1991 in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Fred Kelm, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
A native of Cranfills Gap, he had been a Borger resident for 57 years. He was a retired shift supervisor with Phillips NGL.
He was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church and one of the organizers of Phillips Golf Course. He graduated from Cranfills Gap High School and Lifton Lutheran College.
He married his wife, Jewel, June 18, 1928 in Cranfills Gap.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Cox in 1987 and a son, A.W. Tindall in 1990.
Survivors include his wife of the home; one brother, Niles Tindall of Fritch; four grandchildren, Gordon Cox of Irving; Randy Tindall of Borger, Richard Tindall of Fritch; and Kimberly Foley of Grapevine; and five great-grandchildren.
