James Michael Brock passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at his home in New Boston, Texas. He was 64.

Michael was born March 25, 1956 in Texarkana, Arkansas to James Hollis and Beulah Louise Adams Brock. He was a graduate of the University of Texas and South Texas College of Law. Michael was an Attorney and a member of First Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Paige Brock of New Boston, Texas; one son, Bart Brock of New Boston, Texas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Ally and Cole Phillips of De Kalb, Texas and Scarlett Alexander of New Boston, Texas; one uncle, A.M. Adams of New Boston, Texas; two grandsons, Sawyer Phillips and Beckett Phillips; and numerous other family members and friends.

Services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, December 6, 2020 at First Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas with Rick Rothwell officiating. Interment will follow at Ringwood Cemetery in New Boston, Texas under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Sunday, December 6, 2020 at First Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas.

Memorials may be made to Chapel of Light Church Ministries, 103 E. Main/P.O. Box 775, New Boston, TX 75570
