LEAGUE CITY - Mr. Rodney C. Duhon, Sr. passed from this life Monday afternoon, March 8, 2004, at his home.

Born December 3, 1949, in Rayne, Louisiana, Mr. Duhon had been a resident of League City for two years, previously of Santa Fe. He graduated in 1968 as the last graduating class from Kirwin High School, was employed at Enterprise Production Co. as Sr. Gas Controller, and owned Alta Loma Barber Shop. Mr. Duhon was also a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, John Mitchell Lodge #1401 AF & AM in Hitchcock, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his father, Wallen Duhon, survivors include his wife of over thirty-four years, Barbara Duhon of League City; mother, Delta Duhon of Santa Fe; grandmother, Hortense Hopkins of Santa Fe; sons, Rodney Duhon, Jr. and his wife, Tina of Santa Fe, Matthew Joe Duhon of Hitchcock; brother, Michael Duhon and his wife, Linda of Houston; grandchildren, Ashley and Ryan.

Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Thursday, March 11, 2004, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Reverend John Kappe officiating. Entombment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Casketbearers will be Larry Comer, Darrell Dore, Chris Hopkins, Harry Hopkins, Kelly Jordan, Shane McConnell, Pucker Robertson, and Tommie Weaver.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Hwy 6, (409)925-3501. A vigil service will be conducted at 6 p.m., with Sister Mary Anne Hollmann officiating. www.hayesfuneralhome.com
