*Obituary
TEXAS CITY - Virginia E. Berg, 79, of Texas City, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2003, in Texas City. She was born November 21, 1923, in Temple, Texas, to Leonard
Oscar and Blanch Hughes.
She was a teacher's aid for Texas City Independent School District, a bookkeeper for Electronic Supply until she retired and a member of La Marque Elks Lodge Ladies = = Auxiliary.
Virginia is survived by her husband Floyd Berg of sixty two years of Texas City; daughters Sherry Hawkins and husband Kirby of Austin, Texas and Sharmaine Baird of Texas City; sister Marie Wheeler of Hitchcock; grandchildren Craig Domingues of Clear Lake, Shawn Domingues of Austin and Kyle Baird of Texas City; twelve greatgrandchildren.
Graveside service will at 10 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2003, at Grace Memorial Park with Dr. B. J. Schipper officiating. Entombment to follow at Grace Memorial Park.
