TEXAS CITY - Raymond John Phielschiefter, 54, of Texas City, passed away Tuesday, July 15,1997, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 17, 1997, at First Baptist Church in Texas City with Dr. Henry Adrion TH, officiating. Entombment win follow at Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 16, 1997, at the Emken-Linton Funeral Home.

Mr. Phielschiefter was born October 26,1942, in Clean, New
York. He was a custodian at First Baptist Church of Texas City for 32 years, where he was a member. Raymond has lived
in Texas City since 1965.

He was preceded in death by his father/Frances Charles Phielschiefter, his mother, Leora G. Frost Phielschiefter, and his sister, Linda Lee Phielschiefter.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 31 years, Janyce; sister Susan Denise and husband Steve Jordan of California;
brother Mark Frances and wife Teresa Phielschiefter : of Branson, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, special
friends; Wanda Jackson and Wendell Goodman and special family; and members of First Baptist Church of Texas City.

Pallbearers will be Joe Yoke, Jack Atwood, Bernie Cooper, Dwight Baker, Troy Uzzell, and Will Haden. Honorary pallbearers will be Ardy Blakley, Rik Hawkins, and Sam Garcia.

Janyce would like to extend a special thanks to Sue Hopkins of Hospice of Galveston County. In lieu of flowers, Janyce requests memorials be made to Hospice of Galveston County and First Baptist Church in Texas City.
