TEXAS CITY - Mrs. Zell Lorene Hemmeline passed from this life peacefully with her loving family at her side Sunday morning, February 11, 2001, in Galveston.

Born December 15, 1926, in Meadow, Texas, Mrs. Hemmeline
had been a resident of Texas City since 1958. She had worked at various automotive dealerships as office manager and bookkeeper, including Welch Brothers Chevrolet for 15 years and Jelly Jones. She was of the Church of Christ faith and always had a good joke to tell
She enjoyed working crosswords, watching Wheel of Fortune and spending time with her grandchildren. She was loved by all and now has the angels of heaven smiling and laughing.

Preceded in death by her parents, C.O. and Eula Renfro; sister, Mell Holder and brother, J. T. Renfro, her survivors include her husband, Billy D. Hemmeline; sons and daughters-in-law, Roz and Margaret Cleveland of Texas City; Andy and Sandi Hemmeline, Deer Park; daughters and son-inlaw, Camille Cleveland of Dickinson, Stephany and
Billy Don Williams .of Trinidad; sister, Ottis Wheeler of Lorenzo, Texas; brother, Lawrence Renfro, Lubbock; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2001, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, Pastor Tom Medlin officiating. Entombment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Casketbearers will be Charlie Hemmeline, Todd Spruiell, Steve Thompson, Jerry Thompson, Phil Williams and Wendel Williams.

The family will receive guests from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

TEXAS CITY — Mr. Billy Derrel "B. D." Hemmeline passed from this life Saturday, February 5, 2005, at his home.

Born August 21, 1927 in Levelland, Texas, Mr. Hemmeline had been a resident of Texas City for 47 years. He had been employed as a heavy equipment operator with Local Union #450 for over 45 years and served in the U. S. Army during WWII and the Korean War. A lifetime member of the V. F. W. Post 8566 in Dickinson, Mr. Hemmeline enjoyed golf, football, baseball, playing poker, gambling and will be remembered as a caring and giving man who was devoted to his family. He was a man of few words, who showed his love with his heart.

He was preceded in death by his wife of over 44 years, Zell Hemmeline; parents, O.P. and Myrtle Hemmeline and 6 siblings.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Roz and Margaret Cleveland of Texas City, Andy and Sandi Hemmeline of Deer Park; daughters and son-in-law, Camille Cleveland of Texas City, Stephany and Billy Don Williams of Trinidad, Texas; brother, Sam Hemmeline of Bacliff; sisters, Margie Thompson, Kay Williams, both of Dickinson; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2005, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Medlin officiating. Entombment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum.
