Graveside services for Mattie Lee Starrett, 95, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. today in Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Bud Kidwell officiating.
Burial is under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1999, at Crosbyton Nursing Home.
She was born Jan. 21, 1904, in Acton. She married Conda Starrett on Jan. 6, 1924, in Crosbyton. He died on Oct. 25, 1986. She was a member of the Acton Methodist Church. She attended school in Acton. She moved to Crosby County on Jan. 1, 1920. She was Postmaster at Kalgary from 1944 to 1952. She also worked at White River Lake as a gatekeeper. She was a seamstress.
Survivors include two daughters, Tookie Maze and Mury Ann Stanley, both of Crosbyton; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
