RALLS (Special) - Rosary for Fred Nunez, 69, of Ralls will be recited at 7 p.m. today in St. Michael Catholic Church with Deacon Tony Flores officiating.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in the same church and with the same officiant.
Burial in Ralls Cemetery will be directed by Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
Nunez died Friday, June 3, 1944, in St. Mary Hospital in Lubbock.
He was born on Oct. 8, 1924, in Durango, Dgo., Mexico (to Bernabe Nunez and Catalina Baca), and married Carmen Rodriguez Chacon on Aug. 15, 1988, in Idalou. He came to Ralls in 1972 from California and was an employee of Fred Shell Grain Elevator. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Eva, Yolanda and Irene Nunez, all of Madera, Calif.; a son, Sammy Abel Nunez of Madera; two stepdaughters, Carmina Rodriguez and Obdulia Urzua, both of Ralls; three brothers, Pedro, Jose and Victor, all of Odessa; a sister, Micaela Zamora of Odessa; and a grandchild.
