BORGER — G. Christy "Chris" Watson, 95, of Borger died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Garden of Hope in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Les Sharp, pastor of Faith Covenant Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Watson was born Dec. 19, 1916, in Boonville, Ky., to George Smith and Claudia Dodson Watson. He married Florene Miller on Oct. 7, 1944, in Odessa.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Gail Smith of Silverton and Jean Roark of Waco; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
